As the wife of a Disabled Combat Veteran (Army and Navy), I proudly stand as a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. I firmly believe the FOID card requirement is unconstitutional and restrictive of our God-given constitutional rights. One of my top priorities in Springfield will be to introduce legislation which eliminates the FOID card mandate, ensuring your right to bear arms is protected.
